About me

My name is Sándor, and I spent most of my life dedicated to different crafts. The last decade I lived in Amsterdam gave me the space and inspiration to explore new creative paths. On this page I am offering the result of my experiments in laser cutting and plotter art. I love to use basic shapes in an intricate way, tessellations, islamic geometry, a hint of trippiness, and creating depth via multiple layers of paper or wood.

Ars Poetica

I love getting lost in the tiny details and spending hours on the smallest things until they feel just right. Each piece takes weeks of trial and error, tweaking and reworking until I hit that moment where I can step back and just stare at it. That's how I know it's done: I've made something that pulls me in and won't let go. Something I'm genuinely proud to put my name on.

I am a software developer by career, so art is not my main gig, but my goal is to create a full circle. I'd like to get to a point where the sales of my pieces cover the cost of creating them. Take a look around, and if you see anything you like, all of my pieces are for sale on my KoFi page.
